DOLK & Pøbel
En7oy.dk showed me this brilliant website some days ago and I am totally addictive to it! While going through it i noticed some pics by DOLK & Pøbel which i´ve seen before. What id didn’t know was the story behind the pics. Want to know…? –>

"Batman and Robin" by DOLK & Pøbel
This is from the website:
“This summer, the Norwegian government invited two well-known street artists by the names of Dolk and Pobel to turn abandoned warehouses and houses into something a bit more attractive. They took care of Lofoten, a district of Nordland in Norway. The art bears a striking similarity with Bansky. Nonetheless, here is some creative street art from Norway.”
I really like the idea of them being inviting by the government! It’s like a kind of acknowledgement of what they do. They didn’t “overdue” it, but keept it simple and big. I see the point in the similarity with Banksy, but still, even though the technic may be the same, I think DOLK and Pøbel has some different characters and slightly different ideas than Banksy. All of them are good though, and I “en7oy” their work:-)
For more pics click here! They are f****** good!
